These are Electronic products that have been returned from the store of purchase for reasons described below and shipped to an Authorised Yamaha Service Agent.
The Yamaha agent thoroughly inspects and stringently tests these products and then repackage them for resale.
Such products can no longer be sold as new and can only be sold as refurbished.
All Refurbished Yamaha product sold in Australia will have a Yamaha Refurbished label on the packaging and will include a limited manufacturers warranty period and can be serviced by any authorised Yamaha Service Centre in Australia.
Product sold without a Yamaha Refurbished label has NOT been Refurbished by an authorised Agent therefore cannot be sold or advertised as " Manufacturer Refurbished ".
Examples of clearance/refubished products include:
•Products that have been returned to an authorised Yamaha Service Centre because the packaging was damaged in shipment.
•Products that have been returned to an authorised Yamaha Service Centre because of a slight defect.
•Products that have had defective parts replaced with original Yamaha parts. These products are inspected, stringently tested and then repackaged.
•Products that have been returned because of a minor cosmetic imperfection on the casing.
•Products that have been demonstration units. These products are inspected, stringently tested and then repackaged.
•Products that have had the box and packaging opened but the product has not been removed.
•New products that have been made obsolete or are overstocked may be sold as clearance products, these products may have a limited warranty period.
