Take your iPod to the next level. Yamaha’s new YDS-10S iPod Dock and latest AV receivers seamlessly integrate your iPod with your home entertainment system.

It’s as simple as plug and play - connection to the receiver is via a single cable and click-in adaptors supplied with the Dock make the YDS-10S compatible with most iPods*. You may need to upgrade your iPod with the latest firmware, easily downloaded from Apple’s website.

Once you’re connected, you can easily navigate every level of your iPod menu using the receiver’s remote control, all displayed on-screen through your TV, monitor or projector’s screen. Instant access to all your favourite tunes and playlists is at your fingertips, from anywhere in the room. You can also view your iPod photos and video on the big screen – a perfect way to share them with friends and family. And all this while charging your iPod, so you’re always ready to go.

To make your iPod music sound even better than before, Yamaha’s new receivers also feature Compressed Music Enhancer – a sophisticated digital signal processing technology that improves the high and low range frequency response of compressed digital formats, such as MP3. The sound quality removed in the encoding/ripping process is restored, improving playback quality and delivering a rich, dynamic listening experience. You can even choose from a number of DSP sound programmes on the receiver to extend your listening option.
